If you have followed the world of music lately, then you will have noticed that a lot of well known artists have published albums within the past few months, including D12, Janet Jackson, as well as Canadian Artists Alanis Morrisette and Avril Lavigne. However, probably the best new album of the year comes from one of our best muscians and the most underated artist in North America. Does anyone have any guesses:
Well I will Tell you. He goes by the name of Matthew Good, former member of the Matthew Good Band and just turned solo artist within the past two years.
While some people may not be a fan of Mr. Good, because he has been accused of Anti-American (which is assinine and un-true if you really go to his website and read his content!) or his hard hitting lyrics might be too much for some people to take (Go take some Pepto Bismal if you dont like it), the fact that Matthew Good has his own unique style of music that no one can touch.
Whether it is doing semi ballads like Apparitions and Weapon or hard hitting anthems like Put Out your Light and Alert Status Red, Good's music is something to be holden and I personally know that because I saw his sublime talent on display here in Winnipeg at the Red River Exhibition Ground in June. And believe it was a show to be holden ranging from his hard rock anthems like Alert Status Red or his Accoustic solo of Apparitions was truly amazing.
So 50 cent, your'e music isnt even worth a half a cent, Britney Go take your millions and your "Hit Me Baby One More Time" "Toxic" "I'm a Slave For You Ballads" with your fiance and run to the alter with them. Yes we in Canada are fortunate to have talent like Matthew Good grace our great country of ours, the Most Underated Musical Artist in North America!
